Mirandela

I have strong reasons to love Mirandela, but this is not a blog about myself. 

This blog is dedicated to this beautiful city and especially a symbol of it: the train station.

Located in the northwest of Portugal, in a region known as Tras-os-Montes, forgotten or ignored by governments for centuries.
 
The station is an example of that. Today is abandoned and almost ruined 
The railway equipment was looted in what they known as "A Noite do Roubo" ("the night of the robbery") and the Tua Line to which he belonged is about to disappear under the waters of a dam unnecessary for the region.

But Mirandela, "cidade jardim, terra quente", will never lose their beauty and personality.
